How long will my piece take for completion?

4-6 weeks, please allow additional time for holiday orders.  Each piece requires several days of drying time after it is created, a 24 hour bisque firing, a glazing process, then a 24 hour glaze firing.  The firings are approximately 9 hours, but with kiln temperatures close to 1900 degrees, the cooling process takes some time. 

Where do I pick up? Do I ship?

Pick up  is at my home studio in Wheaton.  If pieces are shipped,  I use Fed Ex Ground.  Shipping and packaging run about $25-$30 at most for the larger pieces and take 3-5 business days.

Do I have a home gallery/store?

Not yet, but I do have my pendants out for purchase at all times at my home studio.  Please call or email to make an appointment to come over and view or purchase.

Do I have other glaze choices?

Yes, feel free to email with a request.  The glazes on my website are tried and true and most popular, but other colors are available.

Do I offer home shows?

Yes, please email to inquire.  The pendants are a fun addition to any group meetings, bible study, small get together, etc.  I can also bring the personalized display for orders,  great idea before the holidays.

Do I teach classes?

I have been teaching classes at the Wheaton Park District for 9 years.  Though I have cut back on my teaching opportunities to start my home business, there are still over 12 classes running for children through adults.  Log on to www.wheatonparkdistrict.com for further information on classes.
